Sinks, Dulles International Airport, Washington DC

Ever found yourself in an airport with four hours or more to kill? Of course you have. Why not entertain yourself by taking photos of the fixtures, fittings, scenery and accoutrements that make up whichever airport you’re in? One of the benefits of the homogeneous nature of major western airports is that it offers you plenty of repeating motifs, whether that’s rows of seats, taxi ranks, phones or in this case, sinks. It’s also surprisingly difficult to find an airport bathroom that’s completely vacant at any point, and not to get caught looking like you’re some kind of monstrous pervert lurking around public toilets toting a DSLR.

Anyway, here’s a nice row of sinks reflected in a mirror in Dulles airport, Washington. The lighting was terrible.
