Bass pedal reflections, Oxford

‘Ooh, those knobs are shiny,’ I thought. I tried capturing this hand-held, but my over-caffeinated hands were juddering all over the place trying to get my face in the shot at the same time (even at ISO 80o and 1600), so out came the tripod. It came out all right, though you have to see it full-screen to see all the detail that’s captured, from the reflections to the huge amount of dust that makes me think I really should clean my musical kit at least once, but dusting off your effects units seems contrary to the rock ‘n’ roll ethos. I bet Kurt Cobain never took a fine brush to his distortion pedals.
