Carfax Tower, Oxford
One of Oxford’s lesser-known but great tourist attractions, Carfax Tower, affords some of the best views of the dreaming spires through this here viewing device. I love Carfax Tower ‘cos of its extremely random £2.10 entry fee, the fact that the barrier is so low I feel in constant danger whenever I’m up there, and there’s a couple of generations’ worth of graffiti from students and foreign visitors to read if you get bored.
