Statue and motorbike, Nepal
It’s been a little quiet on here ‘cos I’ve been off in Nepal with Oxfam, but I did come back with some pretty nice shots, which I’ll update on here. This maybe isn’t the best shot I took all in all, but I really like it because it sums up Kathmandu nicely for me. Ancient statues and temples on every other street, and everywhere you go hundreds of people on motorbikes. Even the biggest touristy area packed with temples and pedestrians is also riddled with dozens of motorbikes honking and sweeping past you. In this shot you can also see a little bit of the fabulously-ramshackle wiring that’s all over the city – an electrician’s worst nightmare. All of my photos are over here as usual, but I’ll put up the best over this week.
