Mirrored railing, V&A Museum, London
This is from the V&A Museum in London, up in the initially-unpromising glass and ceramics area. I hate glass and ceramics areas in museums – I kinda of want to run through the Ashmolean with a hammer in each hand and lay waste to all their plates, but thankfully this is an extremely well-repressed part of my personality. Anyway, this was an entire banister rail made up of layered bits of glass that was nice to look at. I like the detail of the room that came out in the knob on the top.
